Lieutenant Colonel Jason Furlong is an Air Combat Systems Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. After graduating with his wings in 1997, his spent his first flying tour on the CP140 Aurora chasing submarines and fishing boats in the Atlantic Ocean. He has had subsequent tours with the Royal Air Force and the US Navy flying on the Nimrod and Poseidon P-8A aircraft as an operational tester. Since 2018, he has been at National Defence HQ where he has been working within the Air Staff as the Project Director for the RPAS project. He has degrees in Electrical and Software Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario.
